Not everyone likes to drink coffee, fearing bad for the teeth and mouth. But, is it true that drinking coffee is always damaging oral health?
Good news for coffee lovers, because the researchers from Boston University have found that antioxidants in coffee can fight gum disease. Of course this would be a good reason why you should drink coffee.
Furthermore, in a study published in the Journal of Periodontology, health specialists School of Dental Medicine, Nathan, found that coffee consumption is associated with a reduced risk of the number of teeth with periodontal bone loss. Meanwhile, in this study the researchers examined the medical records of dental 1,152 people in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Teeth Longitudinal Study. The participants were surveyed about their coffee intake consumption and compare the results with their dental health records in a certain period to reach a conclusion.
